In memoriam Ben Velthuis (1944 - 2022)

His first carom points he made at the age of 17 in a café in Berghuizen where he grew up.

The first appearance in Billiard Artistic were 1978 at the 2nd Dutch Championships Artistic.

8 times participant at the Dutch Championships 1978 - 1988, ended 4 times on the 3rd place.

1998 Winner of the Coupe d'Europe threecushion in Lissabon with "Pelgrim Professionals"

On his top he was #15 of the UMB world ranking threecushion.

He was the only Dutch player who was in the master class ("ereklasse") in all carom disciplines!
